Alcohol free sparkling wine made exclusively from the Champagner-Bratbirne (Champagne roasting pear). After at least 3 years of bottle fermentation, matured vintages of the sparkling pear wine are opened and gently de-alcoholized. The Champagner-Bratbirne is native to the Swabian Albs of Germany, where families, including the Geigers, have been using this rare, unique pear variety to make beverages for generations.
The nose is a fine scent of the Champagne pear, with fine dried pear notes. White flowers and brioche notes complete the bouquet. On the palate restrained sweetness and well integrated acidity. Fine taste of the Champagne roasting pear with subtle tannins in a semi-dry finish.
