Francesco Cirelli - Trebbiano d'Abruzzo

A 100% natural white from Abruzzo. A textured and mineral version of Cirelli's beautiful Trebbiano d'Abruzzo made in clay amphorae, like ancient Roman winemakers would have. The grapes are allowed 24 hour maceration with the skins in the amphorae, then pressed off for a further 20 days without the skins. Organic grapes, native yeast fermentation, lightly filtering but no fining and nothing added save a small amount of sulfites.
