Vincent and Stephane Perraud are brothers and 8th generation farmers in Clisson. They are some of the very few farmers who are working organically (since 2009) in the region close to the Atlantic ocean that is known for the grape Melon de Bourgogne and Muscadet wines. They grow plenty of that grape and also have micro plots of a handful of others including Chardonnay and Folle Blanche. This pet nat (rustic, mildly sparkling wine) is made from Folle Blanche and Chardonnay. A hint of residual sugar creates a beautiful assemblage of the fuller Chardonnay and high acid Folle Blanche, this is a perfect wine to enjoy during an afternoon in the summer.
