Cushwa prides itself on the continuing process of experimentation with their IPAs in terms of taste. This time, they took a hop varietal they had not yet used, Talus, and wanted to see what it could produce in their growing catalog of hazy, juicy beers. Paired with Citra, it brings out an aroma of bright citrus rind and pink grapefruit. The taste is full blown orange juice, with a slight bit of sage coming in on the back end that leads to a welcoming experience. There’s a slight fading bitterness that goes well with the flavor, and the beer has a medium body, with a high drinkability factor.
