Neighborhood Provisions

Neighborhood Provisions was created as a labor of love out at the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic to support our shared neighborhoods. Pivoting to an online market allowed us to keep as many of our employees as possible from being furloughed while restaurants were closed. It also allowed us to develop our One-Week Food Box program, started to feed our furloughed employees and continued to make sure the most vulnerable members of our communities had fresh, nutritious food delivered weekly to their
door. Thanks to your support, we have kept over 50,000 families fed during the pandemic.

Over the past two years we've had the pleasure of serving our community as a one-stop-shop to satisfy all gourmet food, beer, wine, spirits, and pantry needs. As we return to a state of normalcy, our mission is to continue to provide the highest quality prepared food, beverage, and gift options from our chefs at Neighborhood Restaurant Group. Born of the pandemic, we are now here to stay.

Neighborhood Restaurant Group

Operating for 25 years, Neighborhood Restaurant Group is a hub of 22 food and beverage establishments in Virginia, Maryland, New York, and Washington D.C.

As its name suggests, the Neighborhood Restaurant Group is not a corporation, but rather a collective of idiosyncratic gathering places that reflect the communities in which we reside. We are an amalgamation of talented and committed restaurant professionals who share the same common goals: to surpass the expectations of the guest; to operate conscientious, chef-driven restaurants with ambitious beverage programs; and to support the neighborhoods in which we reside.

Arcadia

In 2010, NRG founder and and CEO Michael Babin founded the non-profit initiative Arcadia Center For Sustainable Food & Agriculture, an organization focused on creating a more equitable and sustainable local food system. Now in its 12th year, Arcadia has had a vast and meaningful influence on the local and regional food system.

Successfully training 100+ veterans who have gone on to hold valuable careers as farmers, a Mobile Market that has distributed 1.25+ million dollars worth of local, sustainably produced food to underserved communities in the Washington, DC area; and hosting an educational summer farm camp program, the nonprofit has hosted 10,000 local kids via hands-on field trips.

We are proud to support Arcadia in its mission to bolster a more sustainable local food system. Each time you dine at a NRG restaurant, or shop at Neighborhood Provisions, you're directly contributing to the invaluable work that Arcadia is committed to.
